in 2022, the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company will team up with the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®)—the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for 100 years—to promote the Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape”™ The campaign reinforces the critical importance of developing a home escape plan with all members of the household and practicing it regularly.
